Popular Nigerian streamer and content creator Peller has stirred fresh controversy after angrily walking out of the birthday celebration of social media personality Jarvis, despite presenting her with a luxury Mercedes-Benz gift moments earlier.
The dramatic scene, which unfolded during a livestream, has since gone viral across TikTok, Instagram and X, reigniting conversations about the pair’s highly publicised and often turbulent relationship.
The birthday celebration initially appeared to be a grand romantic gesture. In widely circulated videos, Peller surprised Jarvis with a brand-new Mercedes-Benz SUV, decorated with a large red ribbon. The emotional moment showed Jarvis visibly overwhelmed as she admired the vehicle, with guests cheering in the background. The luxury gift quickly became a trending topic, with many praising Peller for what they described as an extravagant and thoughtful surprise.
However, the celebratory atmosphere reportedly shifted later in the event.
During a live broadcast, Peller appeared visibly upset and accused Jarvis of giving him “bad energy.” He expressed dissatisfaction with her attitude during the party and, in a moment that stunned guests and viewers alike, declared that he was leaving. Shortly after, he exited the venue abruptly, effectively cutting short his appearance at the event.
Clips from the livestream spread rapidly online, showing Peller venting his frustration before walking away. The sudden transition from emotional gift-giving to public confrontation left many followers confused about what exactly triggered the dispute.
The incident has added another chapter to what observers describe as a volatile relationship between the two influencers. Over the past year, their romance has been marked by public disagreements, reconciliations and emotional livestream moments. At one point in late 2025, the pair reportedly announced a breakup following another heated online episode, only to reconcile months later.
Sunday’s birthday drama has now fueled fresh speculation about the state of their relationship.
Social media reactions have been sharply divided.
Some users defended Peller, arguing that emotional frustration can happen in relationships, regardless of how expensive a gift may be.
One commenter wrote, “Money doesn’t buy respect. If he felt disrespected, he has the right to walk away.”
Another added, “People are focusing on the car, but nobody knows what really happened behind the scenes.”
Others, however, criticised the public nature of the fallout.
“This is why some things should stay offline,” a user posted. “You give someone a Benz and then embarrass them on their birthday live on camera?”
Another comment read, “At this point, it feels like content. Every few months it’s drama, breakup, makeup. Are they dating or producing a reality show?”
Some users even questioned whether the incident was staged to generate engagement, noting how quickly clips circulated across platforms.
