Bayero University Kano (BUK) has officially opened the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) registration for eligible graduating students who are prospective corps members. The announcement was made by the university’s Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Mukhtar Ridwanu Bunza, urging all eligible students to complete their registration promptly via the official NYSC online portal.
The university’s notice addresses concerns regarding discrepancies between graduation dates on the university’s internal pre-mobilization list and the NYSC portal. BUK assured affected students that they should continue with the registration process, as the discrepancies will be corrected in collaboration with NYSC authorities, even after the registration period closes.
Management emphasized that no eligible candidate will be mobilized without completing the required registration. Prospective corps members are therefore advised to take advantage of the registration window to avoid delays in their mobilization process.
The NYSC online registration window for all prospective corps members runs from 12 March to 18 March 2026, giving graduates a one-week period to complete their registration. BUK encourages all eligible students to act promptly to ensure their participation in the upcoming service year.
