FUTMINNA SUG Releases Official Notice as Physical Screening for New Medical Students Begins

The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has officially commenced the physical screening and clearance exercise for all newly admitted medical students for the 2025/2026 academic session. This announcement was made through a formal press release issued by the Student Union Government (SUG), underscoring the institution’s commitment to ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new entrants into the prestigious medical program.


SUG Announces the Start of Physical Screening for Incoming Medical Students

The Student Union Government stated that the screening exercise has begun immediately and urged all affected students to report without delay. According to the announcement, the designated screening venue is the Senate Building, Protocol Office, located near the Vice Chancellor’s Waiting Room. Students were strongly advised to arrive at the venue early and with every required document to avoid any form of setback or prolonged verification challenges.

  • JAMB Result / Direct Entry Slip
  • School Payment Receipts
  • Birth Certificate or Official Declaration of Age
  • Local Government Indigene Certificate
  • WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB Results (Original & Photocopies)
  • Recent Passport Photographs

The Union added that students should also be prepared to submit any additional documents that may be required by officials during the screening process.
