This is to formally inform all students of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) that the University E-Test will commence on Thursday, 19th February, 2026.
As the examination period begins, students are strongly advised to prepare thoroughly and comply strictly with all guidelines governing the conduct of the E-Test. The process is structured, time-sensitive, and closely monitored, and every student is expected to demonstrate discipline, punctuality, and proper conduct throughout.
We would also like to specially address our 100 Level (freshers) who may be experiencing the FUTMINNA E-Test system for the first time. Kindly take the following advice very seriously:
- Cut your nails before coming to the E-Center to avoid unnecessary embarrassment at the E-center gate by security personnel also known as purple rangers .
- Do not attempt to shunt the line if you know you cannot. Maintain order and follow due process.
- Be punctual. If your exam is scheduled for 8:00am, be at the Convocation Square at exactly 8:00am or before 8:30am at the latest. Early arrival helps you settle in properly.
- Dress neatly and smartly. Wear shoe or canvas.
- Do not leave any question unanswered. Attempt all questions — every mark is important, make sure to answer all and just to ask y’all, have you heard of German?.
- Take past questions very seriously. Past questions are extremely key to academic success in FUTMINNA. Solve as many as you can find and understand the patterns.
- Always pray and stay calm. If your system develops any issue inside the E-Center, immediately raise your hand so you can be attended to. Do not panic or attempt to resolve it yourself.
In most cases, depending on the lecturer, it is usually 40 minutes for 40 questions, which means time management is very important. Read hard, be smart, dress properly, and approach the test with confidence.
This examination period is an opportunity to prove your preparation and discipline. Take it seriously and give it your best effort.
