Excellence in the classroom has earned a life-changing reward for a dedicated educator in Ogun State, as the state government honoured Mr. Solanke Francis Taiwo with a brand new car following his emergence as Nigeria’s Overall Best Primary School Teacher.
The presentation was made by Governor Dapo Abiodun at the Governor’s Office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, in a ceremony that underscored the administration’s commitment to rewarding merit and promoting excellence in the education sector. Mr. Solanke, who teaches at Ansar‑Ur‑Deen Main School I in Abeokuta, distinguished himself at the national level after emerging winner in the primary school category of the 2025/2026 National Teachers’ Awards.
