UNILAG Graduate After Hallelujah Challenge “Dress Like Your Miracle” Moment and Bags First-Class Degree

A University of Lagos (UNILAG) student has shared a remarkable testimony of how faith, perseverance, and strategic focus helped her turn an uncertain academic start into a first-class achievement.

Ahona Victory Eniola, a Medical Laboratory Science graduate, revealed that her journey to a 4.51 cumulative grade point average (CGPA) and a first-class honours degree began with participation in the February edition of the Hallelujah Challenge, a widely-followed spiritual initiative led by gospel artist and pastor Nathaniel Bassey.

During the “Dress Like Your Miracle” activity of the challenge, Eniola created a cardboard replica of a UNILAG first-class certificate and posed in graduation attire, acting as if she had already attained her dream. At the time, her CGPA was around 4.4, and she feared her chances of graduating with distinction were slim.

Reflecting on her journey in a post on X (formerly Twitter), she wrote:

“HC ended yesterday, the beautiful testimonies convinced me not to keep mine. Last February, Dress Like Your Miracle, I dressed as a distinction student, when my CGPA was at 4.4‑sth, and chances looked slim. I prayed, studied. God did! A year later…”

Her post included photographs of her cardboard certificate alongside her actual first-class certificate and gown, symbolizing the bridge between faith and tangible achievement.

Eniola emphasized that success was not solely a result of the challenge’s symbolism. She combined focused study, prayer, and consistent dedication, steadily improving her CGPA from the first year to graduation.

The post quickly drew praise from social media users. Comments included:
