Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) requirements

Now you need to understand the Nigerian Police Academy entry requirements in Nigeria. Applicants must be Nigerians between the ages of 17 and 22.

Applicants must have the following physical abilities and characteristics: Male applicants must have a minimum height of 1 m 67 cm and female applicants must be at least 1 m 62 cm.

In addition, men must have a chest size of 91 cm (36 inches) and larger. Applicants must not have a physical or mental disability.

• Interested applicants for Polac are advised to visit the Nigerian Police Academy website: http://polac.edu.ng/purchasepin to obtain or generate a Remittance Retrieval Reference code (RRR).
• The RRR code obtained can be used to make a payment of N3,500.00 through any branch of any commercial bank in Nigeria.
• Applicants must also apply through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board [JAMB] and take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Applicants may not choose the Nigerian Police Academy, Wudil, as an first university in the JAMB.

Applications must be made online. Applicants must download a confirmation form when submitting their application. Candidates who have reached the national minimum cut off mark or higher can download and print their exam cards.

POLAC screening requirements

What are the requirements for Polac?

The Nigerian Police Academy, Wudil’s competitive exam, will be Pencil and Paper Based (PPB).

The exam consists of general knowledge (Part A) which are mandatory for all candidates.

This will cover areas such as general knowledge and current affairs, English and mathematics.

The other sections will be selected according to the prospective faculty.

Only candidates who meet the 180 academy cut off mark in UTME and above can sit for the Nigerian Police Academy selection exams at the 19 mentioned centres.

Eligible participants must bring the confirmation form, exam card, current JAMB result sheet and two postcard-sized photos (3.5×5 inches) to the exam location, which can only be attached to the box from above.

On the back of each of the two postcard-sized photos, applicants must write their name, their country of origin, their exam center and their signature.

Only candidates who have passed the selection exam will be invited for review and interview by the Selection Committee of the Police Academy in Nigeria.
